On 25th June 2024, marked the start of the second SDG Youth Dialogue, which brings together young people from 15 to 25 years old with the goal of promoting the growth and empowerment of future sustainability leaders. The program is evidence of the sultanate's determination to develop the potential of its young people and raise a new generation of creative and imaginative change makers committed to constructing a more sustainable future.  The Prime Minister's Office Pengiran Hajah Siti Nirmala binti Pengiran Haji Mohammad's Permanent Secretary (Wawasan) presided over the discussion. Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), in collaboration with Green Brunei, organised a Beach Cleanup activity on 10 June 2024, as part of the UBD-AUN Summer Camp 2024. The event took place at Serasa Beach and saw enthusiastic participation from over 150 students from universities across the ASEAN University Network (AUN) Member Universities as well as UBD students. The Beach Cleanup activity was aligned with the summer camp’s theme, “Green Horizons: Harnessing Digital Transformation for Biodiversity and Sustainable Development,” and aimed to instill a sense of environmental responsibility among the participants. The cleanup effort focused on removing litters and marine debris to protect local wildlife and preserve the natural beauty of the coastline. Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) launched its “Projek Alam Mampan” (Sustainable Nature Project), an ambitious environmental restoration initiative aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This project underscores BIBD’s commitment to a holistic approach towards environmental preservation and restoration.   Projek Alam Mampan aims to address various aspects of environmental sustainability. The “660 Roots to a Greener Future” tree planting initiative, the first initiative being implemented under the project, focuses on SDG 15: Life on Land. On March 25, 2024, Nextacloud donated household necessities to 20 families under Projek #INFAQ1. The "Bergotong-Royong for Paraplegic and Physically Handicapped Association (PAPDA)" cleaning campaign was held in Kampong Kiarong on March 10, 2024. This initiative, organised by the Council for Welfare of Persons with Different Abilities (MKOKU) in collaboration with Brunei Youth Council (MBB) and Green Brunei, aimed to support the association to have a safe and comfortable space to operate in. The campaign garnered support from various entities, highlighting the community's solidarity towards aiding the disabled. Over 50 volunteers, including students from  Seri Begawan Religious Teachers' University College (KUPU SB), Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA), and Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College (MSPSBS), as well as the general public enthusiastically participated in the endeavour. Green Brunei, with the support of Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd organised the 5th Plastic Bottle-free Campaign at the 40th National Day Celebration on Saturday. As part of the initiative, Green Brunei set up four water dispenser stations along the parade route leading to Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium which were provided free of charge to the public. The campaign was a success with 1,438 cups were distributed as well as using reusable water bottles, which help reduce the use of plastic bottles during the National Day celebration. The campaign also supports the 'Plastic Bottles Free Initiative' introduced by the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (JASTRe), Ministry of Development in June 2018 and the 'Green Protocol', launched on January 30, 2021 by the Ministry of Development.
