A total of 4,003.2 kg of e-waste was successfully collected during the inaugural Green Schools Challenge: E-Waste to E-Win Recycling Competition 2026, organised by Baiduri Bank. The initiative was introduced to raise awareness among students and the wider school community about the importance of responsible e-waste disposal and recycling. Through the competition, students were encouraged to take an active role in protecting the environment while learning that electronic waste, when handled and recycled properly, can be given a new purpose instead of ending up as landfill. The competition brought together participating schools in a collective effort to reduce e-waste and promote more sustainable habits among Brunei's youth. On August 20th, we teamed up with UNISSA for a beach cleanup at Serasa Beach! Everyone rolled up their sleeves, showed incredible teamwork, and managed to collect a whopping 460.3 kg of waste! 🌱 Inspiring Young Leaders for a Greener Future On 6 August 2026, Green Brunei had the pleasure of conducting a Leadership Talk at St. Angela’s School, Seria, engaging students in meaningful conversations about leadership, responsibility, and the importance of taking positive action for our environment. As part of the session, we also facilitated interactive group activities, giving students the opportunity to collaborate, share ideas, and put their leadership and teamwork skills into practice. 🌿 It was inspiring to see the students actively participate, exchange perspectives, and demonstrate their enthusiasm for creating positive change within their school and community. A heartfelt thank you to St. Angela’s School, Seria for welcoming Green Brunei and providing us with the opportunity to connect with and inspire the next generation of young leaders.

🌿 Inspiring Environmental Awareness  On 6 August 2026, Green Brunei, in collaboration with Jabatan Daerah Belait, had the opportunity to conduct a school talk at Labi Primary School, Belait. The session provided a meaningful platform to raise awareness among students about current environmental challenges and explore simple, practical actions we can all take to help protect and care for our planet. 🌱 To make the session more engaging, students also took part in interactive quizzes, putting their knowledge to the test while learning more about environmental conservation and sustainability. A sincere thank you to Jabatan Daerah Belait and Labi Primary School, Belait for the collaboration and warm welcome.
