On 26 June 2026, Green Brunei proudly collaborated with EVYD Technology for a beach cleanup at Pantai Serasa. Together, 36 dedicated EVYDians collected over 114 kg of waste from the beach, helping to protect our marine environment and preserve the beauty of our coast. The initiative brought together volunteers and members of the local community to support families in need while promoting the values of compassion, sustainability, and community engagement. On 20th May 2026, Green Brunei collaborated with Jabatan Daerah Belait for a school talk at Merangking Primary School, Ulu Belait. A meaningful session sharing awareness about current environmental challenges and discussing actions we can all take to help protect our planet. On 20th April 2026, in conjunction with Earth Day, Green Brunei organized a talk at PTEB titled “Awareness on Recycling and Sustainability,” aimed at strengthening students’ understanding of the importance of recycling and its role in protecting the environment. In conjunction with Earth Day, Green Brunei collaborated with EARTHDAY.ORG’s Youth Ambassador and VAM(R)BRN Sdn Bhd to organise a river cleanup at Kampong Ayer, Bandar Seri Begawan on 20th April 2026 as part of the global Great Global Cleanup campaign. A total of 67 participants came together across Kg Setia B, Kg Sungai Kebun, and Kg Bakut, collecting 32 bags of waste weighing 188.8kg from the river and surrounding waterways. This initiative supports Brunei Darussalam National Climate Change Policy(BNCCP) and Wawasan Brunei 2035 by promoting environmental awareness and collective climate action. On 18th April 2026, Green Brunei conducted a meaningful school talk titled “Taking Care of Our Environment” at Sekolah Rendah Pengiran Setia Negara, Seria in conjunction with Earth Day. The session focused on building students’ awareness of the environment, introducing the basics of recycling and encouraging them to reflect on their role and responsibility in protecting the world around them. Their enthusiasm and participation showed a growing awareness and willingness to apply what they had learned. As a way to kick off the new year, Green Brunei collaborated with International Green Generation to expand the "Ber-Aksi" (GG Beraksi) 2026 Programme to Brunei on Sunday, 11th January 2026. The beach cleanup was hosted in conjunction with Day of Action, supported by Gleneagles JPMC, Ministry of Health under the HEAL Programme and JASTRe. A total of 36 volunteers collected a staggering 245.5kg of waste, making a difference in protecting our shores and public spaces for citizens to enjoy. . Small actions, Big Impacts🌍🌿 On 31st December, 150 passionate staff from BELTS teamed up with @greenbrunei for a beach clean-up at Pantai Muara. Together, the team successfully collected 446.5kg of waste, contributing to a cleaner and healthier coastline. 166.5 KG COLLECTED! 🗑️ Warming up session On 11 November 2025, 55 staff from PwC teamed up with @greenbrunei and @jastre.bn for a beach cleanup at Pantai Serasa. We believe in action, not just words. This effort not only cleared our beautiful coastline but also provided critical data on plastic waste for Brunei’s national strategy. 🌿 On November 21, we had the privilege of engaging 49 bright students from PTET at their Green Careers Workshop! Together, we explored Brunei’s green industry through a dynamic scarce resource game, where students acted as village leaders tackling unique environmental challenges.
