On the 16th of September 2023, Green Brunei organised a coastal cleanup in conjunction with the International Coastal Cleanup for Brunei LNG Sdn Bhd at Pandai Danau in Tutong from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM. The objective of the beach cleanup was to raise public awareness about the significance of responsible waste management as a means to protect Brunei's coastal areas and to contribute to efforts aimed at addressing the impacts of climate change. By diligently gathering insights on housing conditions, employment opportunities, healthcare access, and educational resources, these volunteers have paved the way for crucial developments in the region. UOB Asset Management Brunei, in partnership with Green Brunei, is delighted to announce the success of a tree planting event held at Taman Riadah on 19th March 2023. This collaborative initiative was supported by the Brunei Climate Change Secretariat and the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (JASTRe) and aimed to contribute to Brunei's national target of planting 500,000 new trees by 2035, as outlined in the Brunei Darussalam National Climate Change Policy.
