TUTONG, 16 August - A beach cleaning campaign event was organized this morning along Seri Kenangan Beach and Jalan Pengasing in Tutong District, in support of Brunei LNG Sdn Bhd's ongoing commitment to actively supporting community initiatives for a sustainable future. The purpose of the event, which was organized in cooperation with Green Brunei, was to give the leadership team and Brunei LNG employees—including those employed by the BLNG Golden Hearts and BLNG Eco Eagles groups—a good chance to spend their free time engaging in campaign activities with the Tutong District's residents. BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 7 AUGUST 2024 – Mitsubishi Corporation, via its Brunei Liaison Office, has partnered with Green Brunei and received support from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA), the Department of Schools (JSS), the Ministry of Education (MOE), and the Department of Forestry under the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) to launch the second edition of the Social Development Project. The event was held this morning at the Perdana Wangsa Haji Mohammad Mosque in Kampong Ayer, Kampung Setia. On 25th June 2024, marked the start of the second SDG Youth Dialogue, which brings together young people from 15 to 25 years old with the goal of promoting the growth and empowerment of future sustainability leaders. The program is evidence of the sultanate's determination to develop the potential of its young people and raise a new generation of creative and imaginative change makers committed to constructing a more sustainable future.  The Prime Minister's Office Pengiran Hajah Siti Nirmala binti Pengiran Haji Mohammad's Permanent Secretary (Wawasan) presided over the discussion. The Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) and Green Brunei hosted the "Komuniti Industries Kewangan: H20 HEROES" river clean-up effort, in which Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) took part. The event was held on the Brunei River, Kampong Ayer. The campaign aimed to engage industry leaders in direct environmental action, focusing on the challenges and preservation of Kampong Ayer's natural beauty. It was timed to coincide with World Environment Day and underscore the financial sector's commitment to environmental sustainability.
