On November 10, we headed to Panaga School to talk about single-use plastics to the Wildlife Warriors! 🌿🐢 We had an absolute blast working with the students. They enthusiastically fired off answers to every question and were clearly passionate about the topic. On October 17th, Green Brunei organised an epic beach cleanup showdown for BEDB at Seri Kenangan Beach! 🏖️ Teams competed fiercely in house colours, with Yellow emerging victorious by hauling in a massive 127.9kg of waste. Well done to BEDB as your competitive spirit contributed in the removal of a whopping 397.4kg of trash of our shores.🌍Shocking finds included: a fridge door, metal gate, and 4 tyres. Hiking Trip to Bukit Bujang Pahang

On Sunday, 21 September 2025, a total of 31 participants embarked on a hike guided by members of Majlis Perundingan Kampong (MPK) to explore the scenic and historical trails of Batu Berpangkat and Bukit Batu Bujang Pahang. Along the way, they discovered hidden gems, including an old coal mine, Telaga Putri Mandi, Lubang Arang Batu Cave and a bat cave, all nestled near the trails of Pulau Berambang. On 18 September 2025, Green Brunei, in collaboration with Brunei, Energy, Services and Trading (BEST), organised a tree planting activity at Tamu Gadong. The event served as a platform for the public to engage with NGOs, learn about their initiatives, and discover how they can contribute to meaningful causes. Green Brunei officially launched its Climate Explorer programme on Tuesday, 19 August with the first school visit participated by 28 students and 3 teachers from Sekolah Arab Temburong.  The first trip brought together enthusiastic students and teachers to visit Eco Ponies Garden and Mori Farm, where the participants engaged in hands-on farm-to-table activities and learned about eco-friendly farming methods, biodiversity and the traditional kampong lifestyle. Not only that, they gained valuable insights into the cultivation of food using natural, chemical-free techniques and discovered the ecological significance of local plants such as Moringa and other herbs. The visit reinforced the importance of sustainable food production and the interdependence between agriculture and the natural environment. On 23rd June 2025, Green Brunei, in partnership with the European Union, organised a nature walk at Berakas Forest Reserve. The event brought together over 80 participants from diplomatic missions, government agencies and the public for a meaningful experience of Brunei’s coastal forest landscape while promoting physical wellness and environmental appreciation. The ceremony opened with the keynote speech from Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. She emphasised Brunei Darussalam's national strategy reflects these priorities through the National Forest Policy and the Brunei Darussalam National Climate Change Policy (BNCCP) currently 72% of forest cover in Brunei’s land and a national commitment to designate at least 55% as forest reserves.
