Tree Planting with BIBD at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas
Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) launched its “Projek Alam Mampan” (Sustainable Nature Project), an ambitious environmental restoration initiative aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This project underscores BIBD’s commitment to a holistic approach towards environmental preservation and restoration. Projek Alam Mampan aims to address various aspects of environmental sustainability. The “660 Roots to a Greener Future” tree planting initiative, the first initiative being implemented under the project, focuses on SDG 15: Life on Land. The event took place with the planting of 40 trees at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas to commemorate Brunei Darussalam’s 40th National day as well the Bank’s Anniversary.
