In conjunction with Earth Day, Green Brunei collaborated with EARTHDAY.ORG’s Youth Ambassador and VAM(R)BRN Sdn Bhd to organise a river cleanup at Kampong Ayer, Bandar Seri Begawan on 20th April 2026 as part of the global Great Global Cleanup campaign.
A total of 67 participants came together across Kg Setia B, Kg Sungai Kebun, and Kg Bakut, collecting 32 bags of waste weighing 188.8kg from the river and surrounding waterways.
This initiative supports Brunei Darussalam National Climate Change Policy(BNCCP) and Wawasan Brunei 2035 by promoting environmental awareness and collective climate action.
