On 10th November, as part of the EU-ASEAN Green Diplomacy Weeks 2024, Green Brunei collaborated with the European Union for a river cleanup at Kampong Ayer.

A total of 146 volunteers, including students, invited guests, and Green Brunei committee members, collected over 1,300 kg of waste in designated zones. This initiative supports Brunei’s National Climate Change Policy and the European Green Deal, promoting youth awareness and climate action through hands-on participation.

We sincerely thank the Ministry of Development, especially the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation and the Public Works Department; the Ministry of Home Affairs, particularly the Fire and Rescue Department and Brunei-Muara District Office; the Ministry of Education; and @rswservicessdnbhd for their invaluable support.
Together, let’s protect our rivers for a sustainable future!
