On 5th October, Green Brunei organised a Recycling Drive at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM! This campaign successfully collected a total of 1,670.5kg of recyclables, including cardboard, used paper, plastic, metal, aluminium, and e-waste!
This event supports Strategy 7 of the Brunei Darussalam National Climate Change Policy (BNCCP), in which one of the strategy objectives is to promote and implement waste minimisation through 3Rs. This strategy seeks to reduce municipal solid waste and industrial waste going into landfills to 1kg per person per day by 2035! 🌍♻
