Students in grades 9 to 11 who attended the five-day SDG Youth Camp, which took place from August 10–14, emphasized how much they learned and how much experience they gained.
The camp gave participants a forum to learn about and comprehend the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) in light of both the global and Brunei Darussalam contexts.
In order to improve participants’ leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in advance of the International School Brunei (ISB) Borneo Global Issues Conference (BGIC) in October, the camp featured discussions, tours, motivational workshops, and community activities.
The camp was organized by the Prime Minister’s Office, as the Secretariat to the Special National Coordination Committee (SNCC) on SDG, with support from Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) as main event partner, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, ISB, the Brunei Youth Council and Green Brunei.
