Expro (B) Sdn Bhd in collaboration with CJ Technical Sdn Bhd and Green Brunei, successfully organised a beach cleanup activity at Taman Rekreasi Peranginan Pantai Lumut on December 1st, 2023. The event was attended by over 50 volunteers, including members of Expro, CJ Technical and their families, as well as members from Green Brunei.
The main objective of the cleanup was to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment, particularly the beach, and to educate both young people and the general public on the significance of proper waste management. The activity also aimed to promote a sense of responsibility in keeping Brunei Darussalam’s beaches clean and to preserve our environment. Pg Ady Fadhli Pg Omar, HR Manager of Expro, also mentioned in his speech that this activity is also part and parcel of the companies’ social responsibilities, in promoting the values of Think Planet, where it touches the Environment and Social aspects. During the cleanup, a total of 58 plastic bags, weighing 491kg, were successfully collected.
The collaboration between Expro, CJ Technical and Green Brunei sends a message that by working together, we can protect the environment and create a clear vision for a cleaner, healthier future for generations to come.
