Our Tree Distribution & Planting Event aims to promote awareness of climate change and provide youth with the opportunity to be directly involved in efforts toward achieving a low-carbon and resilient climate future. Along with supporting 4 of the strategies under the Brunei Darussalam National Climate Change Policy.

The Environmental Educational Project aims to develop youth who are well-equipped with the knowledge of climate change and to instil more vital awareness and appreciation of our natural resources.

EET Stay-at-Home Tree Planting

The second-wave outbreak of COVID-19 led to an assessment and resulted in several changes in the aspects of the initial proposal to ensure safety.

In collaboration with Mitsubishi Corporation, Green Brunei held a “Stay-at-Home Tree Planting” campaign. Tree saplings were distributed to the public through a drive-thru method held at the Anggerek Desa Swimming Pool, Tutong Youth Center and Green Depot in Kuala Belait.

The operation is supported by the Brunei Climate Change Secretariat, Forestry Department, Youth and Sports Department, and the Brunei Youth Council.
