TERMS OF REFERENCE

 

ADMIN AND FINANCE (i-Ready)

 

Green Brunei (Recover Company) is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to manage our administrative and financial functions. This role is ideal for a candidate who is proficient in office management and eager to contribute actively to environmental conservation, including participating in our outdoor community projects and events.

 

Requirements and Qualifications

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks and projects independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in handling basic administrative and finance-related tasks.
  • Proficient in both English and Bahasa Melayu.
  • A strong interest in environmental conservation and a willingness to actively participate in physical, outdoor activities and field events conducted by Green Brunei.
  • Candidates must not have previously participated in the i-Ready Apprenticeship Programme.
  • Available to start on 1 December 2025. 

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for a dual function, covering both administrative and project-based duties:

 

  • Financial & Administrative Management: Systematically manage and maintain all organisational documentation, including, but not limited to, quotations, invoices, receipts, official correspondence, and comprehensive reports.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Supporting the Project Officer in the effective planning, coordination, and logistical execution of Green Brunei’s community outreach, workshops, and environmental projects.
  • Active Project Involvement: Ensure active and full participation in all organisational events and activities, which frequently require working outdoors in various locations.

Working Hours

 

Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 12:00pm; 1:30pm – 4:30pm

Friday: 8:30am – 12:00pm; 2:00pm – 4:30pm

 

Ramadhan Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 2:00pm

Friday: 8:30am – 12:00pm; 2:00pm – 4:00pm

 

Note on Event-Based Work: Work outside of the standard working hours may be required for events and activities. In such cases, a system of Time-Off-In-Lieu (TOIL) will be provided subject to approval.
