On Thursday, the 7th of October, we held an engaging and informative school talk at Chung Hwa Middle School, Labi, advocating the vital message of “Say No To Waste.” The talk was specifically tailored for the enthusiastic Year 3 students, aiming to cultivate their understanding of environmental preservation and waste reduction practices.
With an array of captivating visuals and practical examples, the students were introduced to the repercussions of unchecked waste disposal and the significance of responsible consumption. We emphasized the detrimental effects of plastic pollution on the environment, shedding light on the alarming statistics concerning plastic waste and its impact on marine life.
The talk concluded with a stimulating Q&A session, during which the students actively participated, showcasing their newfound knowledge and eagerness to implement sustainable practices in their daily lives.
