AMBD, Green Brunei join forces to clean up Berakas Beach

AUTORITI Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD), in collaboration with Green Brunei, held a beach cleaning campaign at the Berakas Beach, Berakas Forest Reserve recently.

AMBD Acting Assistant Managing Director Mardini bin Haji Eddie and AMBD Principal Syariah Advisor as Chairman of the AMBD Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee Haji Muhd Shukri bin Haji Ahmad led the campaign, undertaken by over 80 AMBD officers and staff, and six Green Brunei members.

The campaign aimed to preserve the natural environment by keeping the marine habitat safe and shorelines trash-free. The campaign also acted as a platform for the officers and staff to foster good and healthy relationship among each other, as well as to show AMBD’s support towards supporting initiatives by local non-governmental organisations.
