What is Remarkable Green Race?

The “Remarkable Green Race” is inspired from the concept of The Amazing Race, whereby teams of two people race around the world and strive to arrive first at “Pit Stops” at the end of each leg of the race to win prizes. For this race, the idea of using “Pit Stops” is incorporated and teams of four will compete within the given time limit by completing different green-based activities on ten different “Pit Stops”.

The race includes exciting game activities and obstacles which will furthermore equip the participants with knowledge about environmental issues. The race provides youth with various resources and strategies to support the environment, sustainable commuting and healthy living. The concept of the race was created as traditional methods of teaching environmental issues may not reach a wide audience. Hence, this race in contrast will be an excellent educational platform for the youth.

What is the 3rd Remarkable Green Race about?

The race is a timed event. There are 10 pit stops stationed across the race area (9 ordinary pit stops + 1 final pit stop). Each team is required to complete an environmental game activities upon visiting the station. Points and clue will be awarded after the successful completion of the given task. The participants will have to approach as much pit-stops as they possibly can to collect the points and clue. The clues collected from each station can be combined to serve as the hint for the final pit stop. Top three teams that accumulate the highest points will become the winner.
