Located inside the Peradayan Forest Reserve, this recreational park allows travellers to experience nature at its fullest while going a hike up to Bukit Patoi (310m). The trail is mainly covered by enormous trees, so it is nice to observe them while listening to the sounds of nature. One of the best parts is that you can witness the border between Brunei and Malaysia as well as the different range of mountains, villages, farmland and South China Sea while breathing in the fresh air and in order to do so, it would take approximately 1.5 hours to reach the spot.

In addition to that, you will get to witness a variety of local plants along the trips, including some of those that can be found exclusively in Borneo Island only. Apart from that, the majority of the mammals in this park are nocturnal, meaning they only come out at night. So if you catch a glimpse of them during the day, you are considered as lucky! As a reward for reaching the peak of Bukit Patoi, you can enjoy amazing views of miles and miles of mass tropical jungles. Make sure to bring plenty of water too!
