GB Eco Race 2019

The Green Brunei Eco Race has successfully been completed! 

Green Brunei will be organizing an Eco Race!

Date: 7th April 2019

Time: 7-11 AM

Venue: Bandar Seri Begawan during Bandarku Ceria

About

The race aims to promote environmental awareness through a fun-filled series of game stations, each with an environmental objective. Participants in teams of two will tackle games and find clues on environmental-related topics, testing their critical thinking, strength as well as teamwork.

How it works

Participants in teams of two will tackle the challenges in each of the ten game stations positioned around Bandar Seri Begawan. The number of points awarded in each station depends on how well the teams complete the challenge. The top 3 teams with the most number of points at the end of the race wins.

Winning

The top 3 teams will be awarded cash prizes and vouchers!

Rules and regulations

  1. Registration must be completed in a team of two people by March 17 2019, 9:00 PM local time
  2. People who register late may not be able to avail merchandise.
  3. Team members should be a minimum of 15 years old
  4. Team members should be in good physical health
  5. Teams will be disqualified if caught cheating or engaged in violent/harmful/disruptive activity during the race
  6. Team members are not allowed to hinder other teams from completing each challenge
  7. Team members should arrive on time for the warm-up and briefing
  8. Team members should have paid the $30 registration fee and collected their race kit prior to the event (5th and 6th of April)
  9. No smoking and drug abuse allowed
  10. These rules and regulations are subject to change at the discretion of the event organisers.

Who can register

  • Residents of Brunei Darussalam
  • A team of two people who are both at least 15 years old
  • Physically fit (the race involves a lot of movement and running)
  • Those who love challenge!

Cost

Registration fee is $30 per person, inclusive of t-shirt, merchandise, a free 3-day trial pass to Studio Elevé and refreshments.
